Klaveness
Marine
Klaveness Marine support Changemaker work in Norway. They enabled us to deliver ‘Changemaker Days’ that 1) empowered young people to see how their skills such as empathy, working for the common good and taking ideas to action could be used to make long term systemic change and 2) looked at changemaker storytelling as a tool for changing mindsets, and how "by changing the narrative we can change the world".
Raoul Wallenberg
Academy
We have a joint partnership under the umbrella theme of ‘Changemaker Experience’ where Ashoka and RWA co-created the Changemakers Yard, Changemakers Camp (capacity building programme for youth), Backyard, Årets Changemaker (Swedish award for young societal leaders), and Inspirationsdagen för Lärare (a lifelong learning day-programme for teachers on social entrepreneurship and Changemaking)
Reach for Change
Louise and Göran Ehrnrooth Foundation
The Louise and Göran Ehrnrooth Foundation supports long-term projects in education, research, environmental protection, culture and societal activities in Finland. The foundation has partnered with Ashoka to support Young Changemakers and their solutions to societal challenges.
Ashoka and Reach For Change are powering the pan-Nordic Changemaker Map where the key objective is to take a health-check on the ecosystem of social entrepreneurs, young Changemakers and joint initiatives between two or more organizations. The Nordic Changemaker Map aims to collect approx. 1000 voices from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden and develop a digital map and a roadmap of recommendations.
Antrop
Antrop has been an early supporter of the young Changemaker work in Sweden. Through Antrop's expertise in design thinking and concepts we have together collaborated on the Changemakers Yard, Backyard, Changemakers Camp and youth research.
Sparebankstiftelsen
Sparebankstiftelsen is a major foundation supporting initiatives in Norway within arts and culture, outdoor life, sport, local communities and heritage. As part of their ‘Arenas for Belonging’ initiative they supported a project in the Grønland area of Oslo led by a partner coalition of Tøyen Unlimited, Deichman library and Ashoka Nordic. Ashoka’s contribution focused on the power of young people identifying as a changemaker and communication of this to the decision makers.
